Sitting in a cornfield, looking at the cob. They might have been struggling to come up with a rhyme in this one It has become my favourite track on the album and that's high praise because it is up against the full length Mystery Song. And I love the Aquostic version! Having said I'm no great lover of the Bo Diddly style riff when commenting on Just Take Me, this song has a slowed down rendition running through it. But I reserve the right to be contradictory Love this one

Love this song one of the best on the album IMO. Have any of the Quo tribute bands attempted it ? Cheers

Status Quotes do a decent job of it, e.g. this one from Cross Guitars 2017:

Like it. I think most of the Francis songs in the album are in C or F, if I'm not mistaken (except Mad About the Boy).

It took me years to appreciate this one, when I was young I even regarded it as a filler, but then suddenly it started to grow and nowadays I think it’s one of the best songs on the BFY album. I would even say it is among my top 15 Quo favourites ever! (or at least among my top 20). Really strange how taste can differ so much during the years!

Always liked this one. The "I need too" part of the song is brilliant, why are Quo the only band who can shift direction and then cleverly come straight back into the song...writing all those songs that sound the same must make it easy!
I'll explain what I mean. At 1:41 they go from the stop start music and then using a couple of chords they roll along smooth as you like. This not the work of four brainless headbangers. As the saying goes "Simplicity is genius"

Favorite song on the album for me together with Mystery Song and Ring of a change. It's not directly a standard quo song, never the less it's a brilliant one

I should add , it's a little different to their norm but still unmistakenly Quo. Similar to what has been already said , its been a bit of a grower over the years. I could say exactly the same for Rollin Home from the same album.
