Great find, cheers. John and Rick look really cool.
Not really sure when Francis started getting wasted all the time, he looks out of it here

This is the Spanish TV "Aplauso" performance, is it not? The same one they did RAOTW and Like A Good Girl on - 1979?

Yes, It is , I am a bit surprised how many APLAUSO performances they have. Just discovered recently. If I am not wrong someone posted some weeks ago some 1982 songs from Aplauso as well, Bigman, She dont fool me...
I became a Quo Fan in 1983 , I knew Whatever you want from 79-80s as one of my cousins had the single and played very often rhen...Pitty he was mad about the Beatles and not the QUO, I might have had discovered them some years earlier....

And there is still one performance missing from Aplauso of 1981 when they were awarded with the gold disc of Just Supposin' and they played Something 'Bout Your Baby I Like and Never Too Late. My guess is that we have to wait another 4-5 years until RTVE upload that show.

Actually No. The best I can offer is "I'd sit thru' the Modern Romance video with the sound turned off" for that one.

I used to think Rick sang 'found himself a beat and played it near a bar'!!

Makes sense because it was a single in Spain (as well Like a Good Girl or Jelaousy on the other shows). But, for example, they didn't tell us that LAGG was played on the '79 show, but there it is, so who knows.

I'm sure I've mentioned that they "played" Never Too Late on the show before now, in the thread with Big Man, Jealousy etc. They're digitised, so no excuse for them not to broadcast it really

Some years ago, they release an Aplauso show on Wednesdays, now they don't do that anymore, it's random. I'm angry about how they release the archive. For example they played endless snippets from the Kiss show at Aplauso on some archive shows, like they are so proud to have the first time of Kiss in Spain, but the whole show it still to be released. The WYW '80 Aplauso show the same thing, snippets here and there, one of the longest, less than a minute, but no full release. Another one is from one of the appereance of ITAN. This time not in Aplauso, but in Sabado Noche or Tocata. Same thing. I asked many many years ago for information, very polite, to see if they could release all the Aplauso shows (even telling them the exact dates of the shows that I wanted), in name of the whole spanish fan club via facebook chat. They read it instantly. Yes, after that message, 3 shows were released, but no at the same time, and there are still missing three (and the only one really interesting is the '81 one) and of course, no response at all. But, for a spanish group called Leño, somebody asked to release all the shows that were in the archives. Within a week, RTVE release everything about that, via Facebook chat. So, who knows, the videos are still there, it's just a matter of time.
