One of my earliest memories of listening to them even though this was some time ( years) after it was released. For that reason alone it gets my vote albeit not my favourite Quo track by any means.

Often forget it wasn't actually released as a single until a couple of years later when Pye wanted to cash in on Quo's success on Vertigo.

This came out not long after I'd first seen them on the Piledriver tour. I knew it was coming out because I'd read it in "Sounds" or wherever but I didn't know the track. I was still blissfully unaware of the PYE situation. I even thought there was both a Francis and a Mike Rossi It filled the gap (this and the Gerdundula single about 3 or 4 months later) until a proper release came out (i.e. Caroline) by which time I'd got to grips with things having had the Dog and the Golden Hour albums for a few months. This is one of those tracks that's OK but by no means anywhere near the best on the album. Possibly even the weakest. But the album is SO good, no song is less than a 9 out of 10. It's also been pretty good live recently when they've slotted it in now and again

It's also been pretty good live recently when they've slotted it in now and again I actually quite prefer Francis' growlier voice on the more recent live versions... mean mean GUHRRLL! But I also like the original version, especially for that monstrous ending with the sudden piano (Rick?).
