The Pentlands are a bit close, ain't they? The 'link' isn't working for me but the hosted version is. Good though. Can't really work out where it (they?) was taken from. The north side of the city closer to the Forth I presume. A drone? We were wandering about the centre of Edinburgh on Saturday. First time it's pi$$ed down in ages. Typical A Nikon Z6? You can't hide money!

You can't hide money! Yep, long lens brings everything closer! It's how you sometimes see those huge moon shots in landscape photos. That panorama is about 20 photos stitched together. Taken from Western Harbour on the 12th floor. Unfortunately we don't get Castle views from our flat but a quick jump in the lift sorts that problem out! I keep my expensive camera safely in my office, which has many leather-bound books and smells of rich mahogany.

Very Bohemian Believe it or not, I've never set foot down that way since it was all changed. I used to work down at The Shore (the unemployment benefit office) back in the 70's but I've rarely been down the bottom of Leith Walk or beyond since. Not deliberately. Just never had cause to go, although Mrs Mortified wants to see the Royal Yacht Britannia. One day maybe. Keep 'em comin'

Check out the Queen's lavvy, spot of lunch at The Shore (Ship on the Shore), then watch the sunset at Newhaven Harbour with a fish supper from The Fishmarket, or sit outside at Loch Fyne or Pier Brasserie with a drink.

Sounds idyllic and right up our strasse

What lens did you use for this ? Nikkor Z 70-200 f2.8 with 2x teleconverter, so shot at 400mm. All I did was take 20 or so overlapping images and software does the rest.
