They certainly recorded worse during these flowery days. It's alright in a retro, black & white sort of way.
But I've never really been a fan of this sort of lightweight pop from the late 60's. Just one of these things.

Obviously the psychodelic years were not the Golden years of Quo, although I guess it might be people, specialy in America, that ahould think that Pictures is the best QUO released...
It is my favourite song together with Little Miss nothing from SPARE PARTS

I've always liked this one. One of my favourites of early Quo. I don't listen to it often (as with all the early stuff) but when I do I like it.

Certainly sounds more natural for the band than the orchestrated stuff. One of the better songs on Spare Parts.

Anyone like this one, anyone? Me - very much!
I'd say it's the defining tune off the album. Not too schmaltzy, not too overladen with syrup, a nice wee solo (trumpet?) - tasteful. And a fade out where they're clearly trying to rock out.
Schroeder was a good producer i reckon, Dog Of Two Head sounds nice and crisp - he knew what he was doing.
This one bridges the gap nicely between something like Technicolour Dreams from the previous year, and their first foray into all-out rock the same year, with The Price Of Love.
Good song too. Written by Alan, Bob, and Roy, if i remember right?
