The one that took an eternity to come out on CD after being omitted from the Back to Back series back in the very early 90's. It was sadly missed, I can tell you. Love it

One of my favorites since the first time I heard it.
I haven't had the Just Supposin' album after my late 10s. My father recorded some songs on different mix-tapes.
The one that have most of the songs (WYP, Run To Mummy, Lies and Name of the Game if I recall) is in the same side as Cross That Bridge, some Ramones songs and the other side it's all Dr Feelgood (songs from the 1990 live album) and CCR.
But this particular song was in a stranger mix-tape. I think the other song was Name of the Game after this, which it's very possible.
Don't remember what exactly songs, but I remember fondly that this song was after this song:
And the first half of this:
What was my father thinking to record those songs in that order, I don't know. When my father says something from some songs that he recorded in his youth, I ALWAYS remember him THAT tape. He just laughs. I don't even remember what the other side had. Even, for my father, an ultra fan of the Sex Pistols, I find it extremly rare. That particular tape is sadly missing.
The riff just blew my mind, and the coda (Just the part of "Easy riders, easy riders...") it's one of my favorites end, not just of Quo, but like all the songs that I have heard. I copy the song on like 3 different tapes because I didn't want to lost the song. On those years, I didn't have internet, and I never knew the name of the song or on where album the song was included. Took me years to know. And then I find out that it wasn't included on CD until the remasters of 2005...Just a shame.
Nowadays I find a surprise that some of the members in this forum call it "Quo by Numbers". For me it's a beast of a song.

Bit of a cheesy lyric but I love the song. And other one of lancasters relentless one note bass line songs. Excellent intro and outro as well

Wasn't this track meant for a film that never happened?

This song really brings home the idea of freedom for me: play it in your car and try to stay within the speed limits: impossible.

One of my all time faves. Such a brilliantly crafted track. Oh how I wish the 80s were filled with these kind of Quo numbers. The decade got off to a great start but ...
Back to the song, brilliant riff, superb Rossi vocal (probably my fave) and fabulous key change/bridge when the classic Quo boogie comes into effect.
Superb song. Has stood the test of time and firmly placed in the Quo classic catalogue for me. Would love to have seen the band record a video for this one. Hello time machine!
