Different to the mix that was released on both the "Rockers Rollin' - 2001 Anthology" and "Back To Back - 2018 Deluxe Edition"

Is this just the original Lancaster mix double tracked with an echo added to one?

Railroad it’s all about the armband I’m sorry you feel threatened, perhaps try the Carpenters for a less threatening experience Cheers

Wouldn't want to get into a weight loss competition with Karen Carpenter. All those Wednesday nights at the weigh-in where you find she's lost yet another couple of pounds. And you're due them a fiver coz you had that sneaky doughnut I prefer Francis's vocals on this track as well but, to be honest, it's not a favourite of mine. Nothing released from Back To Back probably ever could be. I did like the Tukka boots though

I've always preferred Frame's vocals on this track and the record company were right to release that version over Alan's. I remember having a chat with Alan about it when he was signing my singles record collection outside their hotel in Southampton on the EOTR tour. He asked me which version did I prefer as I had the acetate of his one. I told him I preferred the single released version because the production was better. He wasn't a happy camper but, of course, I had no idea of the story behind all this and what was happening within the band at the time. I never did apologise to him for my pro Frame stance at the time. If there is any consolation I did promise myself never to see or support the band again after Alan left and I kept that promise until the reunion. I shall take this to my grave.

Not sure you had anything to apologise for if you preferred the single version. You like what you like. It is a pity Alan didn't get to sing lead on any singles though. There were enough contenders, most of them better than Ol' Rag Blues.

I've decided that things would be better if these ruffians had written songs like The Mild Ones.
