I love this song and was absolutely thrilled when I heard it was to be on Quo's second covers album. Parfitt playing the rhythm on this song as only Parfitt can would be absolutely brilliant. However........ when I heard it I was so disappointed! A half-arsed cover on a half-arsed covers album by a band who really didn't want to be doing it and therefore it plodded along at pedestrian pace. I even went to Shepherds Bush Empire for the play through thinking it could be great live..... only to find it was mimed! Such a shame as on the real live set that night they were great.
So we thought we'd do our own version! The animation tells the story of the song adapted for our own purposes. The arrangement is based on the live version on Hunter's Welcome to the Club live album - hence some of the references in the video.
