Here we go again, the lovely Dirty water. A song that had a lot of surprises along the way. It is not as simple as it sounds when playing to Quo Recordings. We were very much inspired by John Eden's new mix.
We can't replicate it and it never was our intention either, but the inspiration took us far ... we left a few mistakes on the guitars and mistakes on vocals be, just because that simply sounded right. More songs to come when this corona shit is over ...... We hope you all like it...or some of you at least....take care everyone....hey ho let´s quo

Enjoyed that. But for some reason it's never been one of my favourites!! I think that goes back a long way, when it was a relatively new song in the live set.. 🤔🥴

Nice guitar interplay! Enjoyed that. Hi Gav! Thanks for the nice words, it's a special song. You have to be very relaxed when playing, if you are tense or stressed, it is heard immediately.

You can't love all songs, neither do I. But for my part, during the recording process the songs simply grows on you...

Enjoyed that very much and yet most of the time I can't be bothered with material from the RAOTW era due to the bad production and disappointment at its time of release which continues to blacken my opinion of it.
Underneath however there was actually some nice work/good songs which the John Eden videos have highlighted and which this also demonstrates...
...and Rossi's vocals, usually a problem in tributes, is very good here in my opinion and at times I thought very close to Rossi's famous nasal whine which for myself was one of the distinctive marks of Quo (together with how they harmonised, the 12-bar, great songs and production (until 1977!!!), interaction between the original 4 players, etc etc etc )
