@bluehighway, did you ever visit?
Should be an interesting documentary.

As with many things with Ritchie I'm not sure if it's true or not, I've heard him say the band was named after the bar but he also told another story that it was named after a now long defunct bar in Paris, so your guess is as good as mine. As for the bar, oh yeah I've been, even remember a few visits...

Right, say no more. I'm the first in line when tickets will be made available for the "Rising, 45 Years of Sheer Brilliance Live Tour" in 2021. (I'll edit my post, just to make sure.)

It wasn't one of the Frog bars, was it?
(Brilliant food.)

A tour would be somewhat strange with only two of us left but stranger things have happened. Studio time has been booked however after a 30 year hiatus.

I'm waiting with bated breath for your next masterpiece "Falling". Songs should include opener "Bingo Woman", "Walk with the Frame" and the epic "Stoolgazer". (I'm sure you don't need any smileys, Tony? I really think this could be exciting.)

charles, I was thinking of "Stumbling", "Falling" would be the follow up to come out around 2050. There are 12 complete songs written by email and skype between Ronnie and myself when we were both being treated for terminal cancer on separate sides of the Atlantic. Sadly we never got to record them but I'm hoping they might see the light of day around this time next year.
