I really don't see the point in releasing those tracks, they sound like they were recorded on an old C90 cassette the quality is so bad. I'm not a fan of bootlegs anyway but I appreciate fans might want to capture a moment in musical history but there comes a point when the recording quality is so bad that even for a completist, hearing them must be an anticlimax.
There are unreleased Phil Lynott songs in the archives, both studio demos and a few fully produced songs, why on earth they don't let them see the light of day is beyond me when they release shocking quality material like has been posted on here.

Bootleg releases happen like this constantly and not a lot of companies are arsed about it. There are tons of Prince soundboard recordings that are unofficially released on Amazon and iTunes. The fake company, iOcean Music, will more than likely be faced with some legal fees for trying to release this content. Cheers

I always thought it WAS Rick playing guitar on 'Kill', but apparently IT ISN'T!!! This track, 'Kill / Gotta get a gun' is scheduled to be included on an official release of Phil Lynott demos and rarities. A few months back I messaged the Swedish guy who is responsible for co-ordinating the release. He was adamant that is wasn't Rick playing on this track, rather is was Snowy White, who played with Thin Lizzy at the time this track was recorded. This probably explains why 'Kill' isn't included on the current Phil & Rick release.... It certainly sounds like Rick. Cheers for the info 👍🍻

Hi gerh
I need to try & track this guy down to find out what the current position is. We has a brief conversation on a Thin Lizzy Facebook page. I think from memory it was going to be released on Universal Music. Leave it with me & I'll keep you posted. I'm keen for an update too :-)
