Favourite Quo Album: On The Level

So what was the story behind the use of Manston and James, presume it was Bob who was James? Gerdundula was not published through Valley Music (Quos official publishing company) but Birchwood Music/EMI. Because of copyright reasons they weren't aloud to use their real names. I wonder why?

One of my top three favorite albums. After all these years the album still gives me a lot of enjoyment and never gets boring to me. Absolute favorite track is Umleitung which is in my top three of Quo tracks. Also love Someone's Learning to pieces. The nly minus point (and it's a very small minus point) is the repeats of Nanana, would have been better to just put the complete song on once and include Tune to the music on the album. I like both Ma Kelly's and this one big time also for their raw sound. I wish they would have played Umleitung and Someone's Learning on the reunion gig I visited in 2014 !

One of their best, imo. In my top 3 along with Piledriver & Quo. My only complaint is that it's too short! The album's obviously missing a song or two, hence all the NaNaNa's.

This is going to be played loudly in the car tomorrow. It's been a while since I visited this friend.

Something Going on in my Head is one of THE Quo songs in my book, love it. That and Umleitung, Railroad and Gerd und Ula stand out tracks for me .
