Im very excited to see The Eagles tomorrow, in Sydney, and particularly interested to see Vince Gill singing with the band. Vince is one of my favourite Country singers and I'm sure he'll deliver,in spades, to the gig. This gig actually has my heart pumped in anticipation.

Just got back from what is a highlight of my live concert career...absolutely brilliant. 2 1/2 hours of hits. The full house of fans were up for it from the opening song to 4th encore. They really are a powerful force when 6 of them are in line across the stage singing in harmony to songs such as Take It To The Limit, and Already Gone...spine tingling stuff. Joe Walsh was a sensation with Rocky Mountain Way, and Life’s Been Good To Me. Glenn Frey’s son, Beacon, was up there on stage and paid tribute to his father with a few songs, and Vince Gill was perfect in singing Glenn Frey’s more famous songs... in fact Vince really soared with his voice during the gig. Yes, @bluehighway, Don Henley mentioned that this band had changed a lot since their original line up... just falling short of saying ‘Panto Eagles’ but did say it’s so great to still perform live with great musicians keeping the legacy of the Eagles music alive. He did say he loves nostalgia but if it ever relied on being ‘sentimental ‘ then that would definitely be the end.....again!😉

It's why any old rocker keeps going, despite what Francis may say it's exactly the same for him too. Glad you had such a great night, sounds like an amazing show.

Always wanted to see the Eagles but the extortionate ticket prices for the Uk this summer have put me off. Great band though Cheers

Always wanted to see the Eagles but the extortionate ticket prices for the Uk this summer have put me off. Great band though Cheers Yeah agree about rip off ticket prices but I just couldn’t let this opportunity, to see the Eagles, go as I’ve missed their last few tours and I’ve always regretted it. There’s no way I’d pay for the tickets up in the ‘platinum’ section but mine cost about $200 each. A mate of mine told me about this bloke at his work was given a gift for his 60th birthday last week ...an afternoon cruise on Sydney Harbour with The Eagles plus platinum tickets for the gig the following day!!! Now THAT would be pricey..$$

I've got a ticket for Wembley Stadium in the summer. I wish I had gone when I had the chance when Glenn Frey was still alive but that was my fault for turning it down.

Same here mate, I wish I’d seen Glen but, honestly, Vince Gill is absolutely magnificent in covering Glens songs. The Eagles was an awesome gig.
