I have a bunch of "Quo" CD's and I'm thinking of getting this one. Is it more "live" or "studio"?
I notice it has several versions of some songs and wonder if it's worth it.
I have all the songs on other CD's.

I have all the songs on other CD's. Disc 1 & 2 are live performances from radio broadcasts, however the 70's one are mainly Live Vocals and not full band performances... then you have the Steve Wright broadcast from Npv. 89 with live performances but not full songs as it was more of an interview than a performance but the interview is missing, and you have the 2005 live tracks Disc 3 is Live at the Paris Theatre from '73 with a couple tracks from the N.E.C '82 gig towards the end... which leads onto Disc 4 Disc 5 is Live At Wembley Arena '88 gig Disc 6 is the Live Alive Quo gig at Sutton Park, Birmingham Disc 7 is a the Brighton 1996 gig So overall, it's all Live audio whether it's from a radio studio or a concert Cheers

Commands quite high prices these days i've heard. Ridiculous prices, sadly... I managed to get it cheap on eBay last year in very good condition... but the prices you see on there are silly and will never be purchased. Some people are expecting thousands for it

The one I'm thinking about is on "Amazon". It has two discs and costs about $9 bucks Used. I don't think we are talking about the same set.

Just had a look at that and I wouldn't bother with the 2 disc set. 1st disc is radio performances and 2nd disc is a mix of tracks from each of the live gigs, so you're not getting any of the full shows... pretty pointless

i think the 4 disc edition would have been a better option if you can find one at a reasonable price as the 7 disc edition has crazy sums attached to it.
