I know there are a fair few Magnum fans on here and as you probably know the amazingly talented keyboard player Mark Stanway left the band in 2016 after 36 years due to "internal friction" which shall remain private.
Mark has now his own band Kingdom of Madness, playing songs from the classic Magnum era no longer in the live set, essentially the Magnum equivalent of FF songs. Joining him in the band are fellow former Magnum members Mickey Barker, Richard Bailey and Laurence Archer and Mark's wife Mo Birch, one of the most talented backing singers in the business. Also in the band are Neil Murray on bass, from Whitesnake and many other bands and on vocals Chris Ousey who recently worked in Snakecharmer and brings a whole new blues slant to Magnum songs with a hugely powerful voice.
This video from their second live show has just hit you tube and shows how brilliant they are as a band so I'd urge any fans of Magnum or classic/pomp rock to go and support Mark and the guys by going to see them live when they tour through March this year and do a number of festivals over the summer, you won't be disappointed.
