It would be a good song for an advert. Wonder why no one has used it.

Its probably their last decent song to be honest after that came pure lazy tracks to fill albums. That's your opinion. Until 1981 I think there were many decent songs after WYW. Decent isn’t a high bar to reach. Really.

Looking back & recalling the release when I was but a young lad, this single came after Accident Prone, Again & Again, Rockin' All Over The World & Wild Side Of Life - it seemed, at the time, a step back towards a more authentic Quo sound. However, when you look a little further back to the pre-Live! releases of Mystery Song, Rain, Roll Over Lay Down (live), Down Down, it becomes quickly apparent how far they'd strayed.

I think on all albums from WYW to NTL there are good enough songs to justify them being brought out under the FF line up. A song like Coming and Going for me belongs to their best work. I know there's people who consider the FF to be only good between 70 and 76 but for me their great period goes till 1981. The songs on WYW, JS and NTL for me beat anything they brought out after that period

They also released it with a quite "clever" video.
Quite different at the time.

Breaking away... one of the best post Blue for You.

I am so glad I only just found Quo. I have so much more stuff to listen to than you do. I love the song and the album. The album is good...the song is bollocks. That's what I mean. I merrily sing along to that one all the time, driving through tree lined back country roads and passing the occasional car. But I will admit that I don't know WHY I like it.

I still like it, always have. Intro is classic. Solo is great. Love the break at the end of the song. very clever songwriting by parfitt/bown.

I quite liked WYW when it first came out, obviously as it gave Quo fans a glimpse of them on TOTP and some great radio airplay. To be honest I am rather bored of it now. Sorry Rick!
