If you went to a gig and they were the support. Would you turn up early enough to see them or stay in the bar ? I think I’d stay in the bar.

I saw Quo as a support band on the Queen "Magic" tour, my first introduction to Rhino and Shirley Temple too, something of a shock to the system.

They've done this a few times when they went on a stadium tour with "old mates" Queen and Rod Stewart.

They came on before Deep Purple about 10 years ago in Oz.
No big deal these days, package deals are big business out here, especially in the lucrative vineyard circuit.
