It's the argument that settles any "Whose the best drummer Quo ever had" Spud did it first..he would have made The Oriental better as well!

Looks like they should have made Eddie Yates the Quo fan before Les Battersby.
Whose the guy next to him with the Quo shirt?

Loos like he has the car keys in his hand ...and a badly dislocated finger. Wonder if Spud is a glass half full ..or half empty type of guy

Hi All, Great picture and I think Geoffrey Hughes (RIP) is in love with him judging by his adoring eyes....

Jim, Quo's chauffeur according to John's FB page Jim...the driver that Quo tried to sack after 3 days in the job as he wasn't a good driver but he ended up staying with them for about 6 years! He was a bit accident prone and the band found him very easy to wind-up and prank. Like the time when the band asked him to pull over the Daimler and nip into a shop for them to buy some cigs etc. The band would then jump out and quickly push the car much further down the road. Jim would come out of the shop and be completely baffled as to how the car wasn't where he thought he had parked it! Think this endeared him to the band. Interesting character as he also had a sideline in bit part acting/extras. He played a German soldier who was blown-up in the movie 'The Guns of Navarone'. I believe the story goes that he would sometimes say he was ill and not turn up for work but was possibly at some interesting parties!
