Can't believe this was half a decade ago. Drove over from Sheffield, got in to the O2 queue, having an O2 mobile, which meant that there was only a dozen people in front of us. Seeing the Hello! curtain when we got in, running down to Alan's side. The crush and the bounce when they started Junior's Wailing! Hadn't experienced that at a Quo gig for a very long time. It was bizarre to not see the same old faces who normally hog the barrier at a Quo gig! Superb night - only bettered I think by the Hammersmith shows. NICE ONE..HOPE YA NOT A BLADE THOUGH.. WAWAW

In hindsight I wish I'd gone to the 1st gig in Manchester. I actually went the following week for my one and only gig of that tour - a lot of umming and erring but my reasoning was that with 3/4 more gigs under their belt they'd have gotten into their stride a little more and that the 2nd show would be better...My mate went to the 1st show and he said despite the F-ups it was something else atmosphere wise.

Yep...i was at the Manchester gig on both tours. Hard to put them into words. My only regret was that i didn't do more dates... Hammy, Glasgow,Dublin etc. But it's something I'll never forget.

Yep me and my cousin went to this one from Sheffield.. Train over in afternoon, a quick pint, bumped into into lots if old mates. then into the venue..
What an atmosphere.. (Best crowd since Wednesday beat Man United at Wembley in 1991😄).
Seriously for me, it was the noisiest most exciting gig since 1982 NEC.. And the band knew it👍

The banter between Quo fans starved of the real Quo for the past 30 odd years. I'll never forget that.
