Can’t believe that was 5 years ago, still the greatest gig I’ve ever been to. The anticipation as I drove 250 miles north in the morning. Turning up to the venue and the buzz in the pub next door was incredible. Was it really happening? The lights went down, that intro from Jackie Lynton the curtains dropped and there they were. So much emotion in that room,an electrically charged atmosphere never experienced anything like that in my life probably never again. Quo were back,we had no idea what was going to be played in the set. Anyone else there ? Cheers

No but I wish I had. I waited until Hammersmith but it's one of my biggest regrets that I didn't go to Manchester as well.

First tour was excellent because THE QUO were back! The second and final tour will however remain my favourite as they were much tighter live

Yeah I was there, also in the same adjacent pub pre-gig, great gathering of genuine QUO fans sharing stories etc. But the gig itself, not only was it the unbelievable tension & atmosphere, but it was also the 1st time I'd ever been to a 1st night of a tour gig so had no idea of the set. Hard to pick highlights but op the top were Backwater/JTM (AL - 'nuff said), BEL (RP clogging it in the last section),& MOTM, (FR nailling this and pretty much every solo as they should actually be played, - ie minimal daft string-bending!) And also one of the top 3 QUO crowds I can remember being lucky to have been a part of, Cheers,

I couldn't care less about any mistakes... the feeling was back! I had favourite moments from both tours but the second was particularly special for the majesty of 4500x. Ok maybe not 20 minutes, but at least not cut off in it's prime AND had GGH added!

We came from germany this day and everything was absolutely fantastic, the pub, the crown in and before the pub, the venue and the crowd in the venue the curtain the intro and the band real proper quo. I have never seen so many people with tears in their eyes at a concert and I will never forget the roar of the crowd as Francis said Alan Lancaster and John Coghlan...........................................................

Can't believe this was half a decade ago.
Drove over from Sheffield, got in to the O2 queue, having an O2 mobile, which meant that there was only a dozen people in front of us.
Seeing the Hello! curtain when we got in, running down to Alan's side.
The crush and the bounce when they started Junior's Wailing! Hadn't experienced that at a Quo gig for a very long time.
It was bizarre to not see the same old faces who normally hog the barrier at a Quo gig!
Superb night - only bettered I think by the Hammersmith shows.

One of the best pictures to come from the reunion tours... and to think they're not even talking to each other again

so did they film every night of the FF shows in 2013? Other than the Hammersmith shows because "it was too expensive"... sadly Would've made for a better DVD than the Wembley show

This was the most incredible night. Like John said on FB, so sad it can't happen ever again.
