I watched a video of a guy playing the rhythm guitar parts for some of the most difficult Metallica songs.
Bloody hell.......
It's a whole other league from playing the rhythm part for Paper Plane 😱

I doubt if FF only fans could agree on when the Quo peaked live Metallica with Cliff. Metals finest live band. Especially the Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets tours. As for Quo fans. The peak was either the On the level tour or well the On the level tour. No longer a four piece after that.

paradiseflats I seriously doubt we could get agreement on when Quo live were best. I've only got the b&w Spanish TV video of Quo from the OTL tour and some boots to go on....but I think they were more "frantic" on the Live! tour, heavier and more aggressive. Then again, maybe it just seems that way as the sound quality is obv so much better on Live! It's a shame we don't have anything great quality from the raotw tour, as from the clips I have heard and the fan comments I've read, it was brilliant Why would you say OTL over say, the Hello! tour? Back to Metallica....I saw them again in 91 or 92 and they were not nearly as good as on the Justice tour. Wish I'd seem em with Cliff, what a cool guy. I liked Jason, never took to the 3rd bassist.

Seriously you are correct. In some ways it’s like choosing your favourite child. They were always great back then. The tour to me is the best as it introduced Forty five hundred times to the set as the centre piece. They may hav3 played it at th3 back end of the Hello tour. But for me it’s the best version still containing parts of Gotta go home. After that Andy joined. They stepped down slightly. From then on the songs they added to the set were a slight step down. Always great even after John left.

There were burned out during the 91-93 tour esp during 1992-3 from various bootlegs i have watched on YT 93 James's voice was shot for a majority of the tour
