Is that for quality of the recording? We might have heard them before. Hehe. For the sound mainly. I know it won't be a poor bootleg version of the Friday Rock Show, cause they wouldn't be able to get away with fobbing that off as a main release... whereas a bonus cd no one really gives a fuck other than the fans... But I hope it's better sounding/mix than the original release I hope every last second of that gig is on the CD and nothing has been removed... Every single word from Rossi's chatter, the correct version of Hold You Back, and the You'll Never Walk Alone chants before the encore Comparing the lengths of the tracks to the Friday Rock Show release... it looks like Rossi's Chatter has been removed, as has the National Anthem (no surprised)... and You'll Never Walk Alone chants have... early fade out after Bye Bye Johnny I'll probably just combine it with the Friday Rock Show version I have to have the full gig Edit; It saw a bit of promotion from the Status Quo Facebook page this past week... probably the only bit it will see from the Quo camp until the day/week before release. I really hope you're right. And I'd buy that too. Definitely worth checking out first. Cheers!

It really doesn't help that they've cut out Rossi's chatter, if I'm correct... This means the same will happen for the Milton Keynes gig, if that see's a released now we're in the 80's period

We've got so many versions of most of the tracks, the chat is one of the things that makes it unique and worth buying again! Otherwise I can just listen to it on the BBC Live boxset. Assuming they aren't short of space on the Cd, I don't understand why they do cut it out either, what's the point!

A shame live gigs are butchered like this... it's not even down to space! they have plenty of room for a few seconds of Rossi interacting with the crowd. Then again it's only like the mess that was the Queen release "Live Magic"... songs from different gigs and they didn't bother to make them flow into each other...

Both the cd and the vinyl edition are now available to pre-order at the swedish music store Ginza! Maybe needless to say, but I've ordered both of them now!

Love the sound of the Knebworth tracks on that though

is it gonna be worth it? do we know yet? 30 quid is a tad steep for something that is not "unique"as such. i'm no expert, so need advice from you guys who know their onions.

By the looks of it we can only preview the tracks from the original release tracklisting, so we can compare them... I guess?

I'd hope to God I'm not after splashing out 60 quid for yet two more copies of the same thing. I'd be a bit peeved if the sound was the same

I've just been informed from a friend, who was playing the CD this morning, when during Roadhouse Blues at 42 seconds the track cuts out until 2.04. I was wondering, if the fault is on his copy, or is it a wider issue.

Looks like there maybe a quality issue ! Grrrrr....Bloody typical with these releases done on the cheap

I've purchased the new cd, arrived with post this morning, have not played it yet though, hope it's ok. Was hoping for improved sound quality to what we have had before with this gig, I'll just have to wait and see when I play it. Nice to have it as one gig though.
