Riverside. I know many love it but to me it has always been just some boring mish-mash Carol. No sorry, quite ok but still only a filler Enough is Enough. No, sorry, doesnt work at all for me
All in all a strange album, I miss leadvocals from Alan and Rick, I hate the silly highpitched choirs (like the "lalala"s in Long Ago), too few guitar solos and too few songs that makes me wanna move, dance, play air-guitar or even tap with my foot. I cant put my finger on it but this (and JS) is the FF album I've always played most seldom

SBYBIL - even though the video of that boy getting ready for the gig was quite sweet at the time Mainly because like with my choices of the other albums that have "hits", its become yet another insanely boring and cheesy karaoke medley.
The other two are a secret because I've decided to make it a secret and because I can "The other two are a secret because I've decided to make it a secret and because I can" hmmmm.... let's read between the lines.... decide - the Dee is a river, so that becomes the homonym Deeside - ie RiversideRossi tells us to "take me away" - but it is a song, so we should actually take the note "mi" away. You wrote " make it" so if we take "mi" away we are left with " ake t" - ie pig latin for " take" you say " I can" so you (ie from your perspective "me") must have a way - put all that together and you get the song Take Me Away. Do I win Prosecco? If they'd had you at Bletchley Park we'd have won the war two years later!

I love this album, one of my faves, but the only two songs that I can't skip without regrets are Long Ago and Enough is Enough.

Never too Late, SBYBIL and Long Ago. There are a few closing in.... This was a kind of swansong album..... And a strange fuzz-sound from the remaining guitarplayer......

Whoever picked Riverside needs their bollocks dragged across shards of glass.

hard to narrow it down to just three but Something Bout You Baby I Like, really!I don't, this started to cement the drop off - hated it then , still hate it now. Enough is Enough, says it all and sums up the direction I was going with Quo , probably Falling in Falling out was a fair reflection.

Whoever picked Riverside needs their bollocks dragged across shards of glass. I would love it if it did not take so long to fade out. Riverside Riverside Riverside Riverside.

Whoever picked Riverside needs their bollocks dragged across shards of glass. I agree I absolutely love Riverside- it's proper Quo forget it being a bit of a mishmash of overdubs, it's fookin brilliant. The last track on the last F4to album...what a way to bow out

Love Mountain Lady, one of my Quo top 10. One of my favourite songs as well
That isn't a secret
According to Francis it's about Stevie Nicks.

According to Francis it's about Stevie Nicks. I know what the lyrics are but when did he say that - and why? A couple of years ago. He was asked about the song. He said they were trying to do something different, and said it didnt really work. He went on to talk about Stevie Nicks. There was no suggestion they had a relationship. Perhaps Alan was impressed by her when they toured with Fleetwood Mac.
