Hi All,
MrsF,
I use a pc from home so I imagine you are either on your phone or a laptop and from what I have gathered from other forumites depending on what you use to view the forum depends what view you get. You will more than likely have different way of accessing the forum to me, all I can do is explain how I do what you ask on my Pc from home if that's any help right then here goes.
No.1. I first click the picture icon from the ones above were we enter the text when posting. This brings up Insert image box.
No.2. I delete the then Enter the copied image into Image URL box.
No.3. Then click Insert Image.
No.4. When the image appears I then move cursor over the image and click, this brings up a cross hair icon along with eight white squares surrounding the image.
No.5. By moving your cross hair over any of the squares and with a single click and hold you can then manipulate the size of your image either larger or smaller in any direction. Dependant on which square you click it will give the direction in the form of an Arrow cursor you then manipulate the image.
The four Corner squares allow Diagonal manipulation.
The Top and Bottom Middle squares allow Vertical manipulation.
The RH Middle square allows Horizontal manipulation.
Obviously the space bar icon is where you want the image to appear in your post, you can then manipulate the picture to your own requirements. When you have it the size you want simply move the cursor off the white square.....
Geoff.
Thank you Geoff. That might provide the answer in a way - I'm using attachment rather than URL as I don't use an online picture store. I guess we have less control like that.
Also I do normally use my laptop, but I can see big pictures big. (I am sure it would be different if I was using a phone.)
