I though they had guitar trouble of some sort. If I remember correctly on the bootleg you can hear them stop and start a bit until it was fixed

There might have been an issue with the wireless rack cause both Rick and Rossi stop playing

Whilst on the subject of bootlegs, anyone know if Rick's last show in Turkey is available as a complete show?

How do you know if the 89 & 90 are played too fast? Knebworth and NEC were both partially released, so it should be easy to find out the correct speed...

I watched the NEC 89 gig recently and while Rick's Caroline intro is fairly pacey, it definitely goes up a touch when the full band kick in.
Not sure what my point is.

I think it picks up when Rossi joins in. There's a definite change in pace when he does. The Birmingham gig is without a doubt one of their best filmed gigs... some great shots and catches the ambience perfectly during the drone. Only thing that ruins it is Jeff's spandex pants and tanktop

...and unfortunately for the cameras, and the video, that the back end of NEC curtained off for the 1st time?, sections of this vid were used on one of the waltzes vids as well if I remember rightly...?

Mainly crowd shots and the one clip from WYW on the 2nd Anniversary Waltz and used again on Walk In The Room

Regarding Knebworth how come when they planned to release it years ago it got blocked was it a copyright issue or was it blocked by the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Charity?
Apart from the offical live songs which are on the Live DVD/CD has any other songs ever seen the light of day i know there is that small clip i think from the Mystery Medley which shows up briefly in the Hello Quo documentary.

It might have been down to Nordoff Robbins considering they own the rights to it (from what I know)... But it might be another reason because I don't think they'd plan a release and make the artwork without making sure they have the rights first.
