I have the dvd that DB made. Both the two VHS-parts and the private filmed missing bits... Wasn't John Eden's work with RAOTW a labour of love? Or is SOMOGAG gettin' some?? It was but he asked the band for the master tapes when they were found. They didn't mind him doing it as i suspect the re-releases were in the pipeline anyway. I have seen that other DVD of EOTR and I don't like it i'm afraid the private filmed bits are too poor qaulity and distracting. I have mentioned releasing this on DVD or BD to the powers that be. If they have the entire audio track, they can use the private filmed bits for video only OR use stills pictures from Bob's vaults to 'fix' the missing portions. I see no reason why this shouldn't be officially released once the FF era deluxe editions are done.

Same here it does seem though that after the financial arguments were finally settled with the reunions. Old material featuring Alan and John is being re-released more regularly. Remember the Sweedish Sessions were booked for an offical release nearly 10 years ago. That was pulled at the last minuite, so was the original releases of the BBC sessions. Looking at what Queen are doing with their upcoming 'Sessions' Box Set with loads of BBC material just goes to show the Live At The BBC Boxset had so much more potential but they just slung each disc together Queen fans are not amused! As for the Swedish Session, I hope that'll be released at some point as well.

Here's another one. Who wouldn't want a preview of Quo's most monumental song. One thing I think they should have done with Forty Five Hundred Times is have a wide shot of the stage from the when all the crowd were bouncing around 0:58. And considering there was a camera crane at the gig, so many more shots could've happened but instead it was limited to behind the backline. 2x on stage 3x on rails infront of the stage 1x in the crowd 1x in the rigging on the left side getting crowd shots 1x behind the drumkit 2x camera cranes (on stage and at the very back of the bowl) Heli flying around with one 1x in the centre of the crowd for wide shots inbetween songs

Here's another one. Who wouldn't want a preview of Quo's most monumental song. bollox. I was just getting in to that and it faded out. On another note... You've dove a cracking job because even with YT's compression it sounds great and looks super smooth. There's a weird "feel" to some of the footage but not in a bad way. I can't put my finger on it or even describe it but I love it.

Cause that'll be the new fps that its in, and that's what I thought when I first saw it. if not then I'd love to know what it is

Going back the discussion over the whole 'Milton Keynes edited master were found around the time of the Pictures Documentary', that may not be the case. Considering Alan Parker had to request what he wanted from the Quo Vaults and wasn't allowed free pickings, he states 'Milton Keynes no longer exists', and 'There is footage from Milton Keynes, and that in itself was a nightmare! Because the master-tapes burned down in a London warehouse fire, in the early Nineties… However, we tracked down a very good bootleg, so all was not lost! I wouldn't be expecting a DVD release sometime soon…'. And this is where I consider the warehouse fire story bollocks and that they still have the tapes. IF they had found the edited tapes why weren't they given to him for the Hello Quo doc...
Edit: Does anyone remember the blog that Bob Young had stated they were found by any chance?

I've seen it on videos/performances of other bands and it might well be the fps from when the footage has been re-mastered/converted from old ananalogue sources and upscaled etc.. I'll have to watch it through the youtube app on the tv later instead of the phone & tablet to get a better idea. Having said that.... It's not a bad thing. I like it. I've seen it on modern footage too. Concerts the BBC has filmed and shown, even when it's been downscaled it still has the same effect. The effect seems to be intensified on shots that appear to be zoomed in on a subject/item. Wider angle shots aren't affected the same, they seem flatter. Does this make sense?

I think its a bootleg. Videoform music does not exist anymore. Also If they were using new audio which is clamied on another video. Why is that jump in Mystery Song still there. It was not there on the original Videoform release but it was on the Channel 5 re-release in 86. .. 84, this vhs was really played nonstop all day long. 82 NEC also, remembering had that beta version and tape just cut off just because this:

If anyone would like to listen to the full audio then it'll be on Soundcloud for this week then it will be removed. Status Quo; Milton KeynesI've just noticed I was to late to listen to the rest of this, that I started to listen to last week.
