Just got back from the Zurich gig. What a night! Huge venue and very close to a sell-out crowd - and a very involved one too. No setlist surprises after Austria, but it went down very well and the big crowd certainly got into it. It was the Dalai Lama sharing his wisdom in the Hallenstadion yesterday, but tonight it was Francis with his views on Brexit. I'll post a fuller review when I get a chance, but suffice to say, a very satisfied crowd filtered out of the Hallenstadion into a chilly Zurich evening - like it or not, there's a big audience for this brand of Status Quo and they do what they do superbly well. (The gig was recorded and available immediately after the show via Live Here Now.) As seems customary at this venue, they issued flyers announcing the next gig in two years time, watch this space in 2018! Oh - and the support band were young Aussie rockers "Laced In Lust", they only had about 20mins but made quite an impression, good stuff. Thanks Lee. Ive never heard of the Aussie band 'Laced In Lust' so I checked them out... Nothin new under the sun, but sounds ok. From the outbacks?

Thanks for the review, TG they are still doing Gerdundula! With not too much arsing about I hope.
But as ever ROLD is the Touchstone, and i shan't know until December.
PS note no sign of 4500. That can't be done without Rick, anyway.

Impressive crowd numbers by the looks of it. Photoshopped. Obviously images from the Roger Whittaker's Final Whistling tour.

Excellent report Rockdoctor. Huge crowd by the look and good to hear they enjoyed performance.I see 4th chord feels slightly threatened by the size of the crowd. I guess he and Derry become a little consumed by the size of quite a few things these days. I reckon they may well hang out together.... Think I have pre ordered the cd , so looking forward to it arriving. Rockon Wilquo

To make it look less than there really was, just for you guys on here You can clearly see that the same group of people are repeated. For the avoidance of doubt, I don't want Quo to be shit or to fail. I just want them to be the best, artistically, they can be, and many times they fall short of what they're capable of. Setlists, treatment of Rick, fans, etc.

TBF, tastes do differ on the Continent and stuff us Brits think is shite goes down really well. David Hasselhoff for example...

Good review mate, pity about the setlist not being what I'd want for a more or less farewell tour but I'll enjoy Belfast next week anyway.

Is this a criticism of Francis' quo, I didn't think you lot did that. For the record, what did you expect to hear, juniors, backwater, just take me....cause that's a different band...

My own opinions aside, most especially but by no means exclusively the set-list, thanks for the well written and informative review Mr Rock Doc
