Metallica's Black Album for me.
I know many devotees prefer the older stuff, but there's not a single track I don't love on it.

It was also the last album I got from them... I am curious about the new album though after hearing a track from it here a little while ago, i'm not sure, but I think Paradise Flats might have put the track up.. |

2nd Winter by Johnny Winter (1969). Still blows me away. A simply amazing album.

There are maybe a couple of tracks on that album I'd listen to. I can understand each to their own but it wasn't the Metallica I wanted. For me the sound of a band trying to hard. They wanted to do something different but it didn't work for me. Over polished and too commercial. |
