Is THIS what he means?... Written by Lancaster/Parfitt as a follow up to Backwater.

To quote, ' I have always been afraid of Macho men, I see them as a threat to me'. Not Rossi but another famous musician.

Words that tell what some always believed. Status Quo is a duo. Yep the rest of substandard Quo don't matter.

'macho stuff they all love' what an 18 carat pillock...what macho stuff? Maybe Alan and Johns moustaches and leather I guess, certainly not the music.

The "macho" line has been perpetuated by fans who have a clear hatred towards men, for whatever reason (probably some kind of personal trauma). Apparently, men aren't allowed to be serious because it is threatening, yet the fans in question see no problem being butch, swearing like troopers and ordering other fans about.
That and the fact they are so laughably in love with a skinny pensioner.

It's clear that he will carry on without Rick anyway.... See all the turncoats deny they said they would never continue without Rick. Look at what he says... They will.

I choose to remember my happy days together with this fantastic band. First heard them around 1972-73...Big fat mama which I thought back then was called 'Say you need me'....
There's been some really low points for me...RAOTW and IYCSTH in 77-78,the 87-97 years and the cover albums but most things positive for me and that's what I will remember til the day I die.
Thank you Status Quo... quoal quofr quojc quorp

Paper Plane on TOTP and then my brother's mate giving me the Piledriver album "I don't really like this stuff but I think you'll love it" I played side one and loved it and then the moment at 3:19 BFM and that was that really.
