Surprised at an American following the sun and being aware of page 3... I can't remember how I found it. But I'm an Anglophile, my grandad was born in Sittingbourne and I love all parts of Britain. Not necessarily the weather, but the country itself, yes. Was it Churchill who said, "It may be sunny by morning, but Tower Hamlets is still Tower Hamlets"?

Nowt wrong with the Sun,the bible of Britain Cheers That feckin rag is the worst of them all. With the possible exception of the Mail. Fletcher to Godber in Porridge. "Go down and get me a newspaper and if you can't get one bring back The Sun" When I worked for the London Evening News the Sun was known to one and all as The Comic...Daily Mail was The Rag.

Not necessarily the weather, but the country itself, yes. it is nice to hear you say that AmQ, because it is usually put down, primarily by many of its citizens. It's an amazing place. Of course, I'm half English with cousins all over the place, and apparently the family had a business on High Street until quite recently (I've a photo of my grandad standing in the family store circa 1905).
