Parfitt has been as bald as a coot since the mid 80's. That's Rich.....
Geoff.
Jeff Rich was forced by Rossi and Parfitt to donate his hair for Parfitt's wigs. Ultimately it all got too much and his hair never grew back, hence he quit the band.

Forget touring, save your energy for that one last brilliant FF album, with or without Rossi. (Preferably with) By the by, I showed my hair cutter a recent photo of his hair and said that's what I wanted, so that what I'm growing. I just wish I had the blonde color. It can't be a FF album without Rossi! If you can call it Quo without JC and AL, I figure those three can call themselves whatever they want. Hell, I only heard of them a year and a half ago and even I know that now. But do you really think if Rossi thought they would make some money he wouldn't join in?

The FF name refers to one particular constellation of musicians. It wasn't the first lineup under the name of Status Quo. Not a dig at you, but I never understand how people complain about it not being Quo without AL and JC, when Alan was happy with firing John, at least back in the day. As for the question, he might do it if it was the only way to make some money, or if he actually felt good about the thing. Who knows, maybe he has heard Santana IV and changed his mind!

Don't get me wrong. I like a lot of this lineup's stuff, some of it a lot. But it's different. It's why I call them Quo 3, no matter how many times they play Hold You Back it's not the same. I would love to see what JC, AL and RP could come up with as an album. Maybe it would suck, but that would be okay. It would show the tank was empty and we would not be left wondering what might have been. If Rossi wanted to sign on, and I'm betting he would, then all the better.

The FF was slightly use slang term for Status Quo during the mid 70's which was never used officially until porter for whatever reason labelled the Status Quo reunion tour as the Frantic Four. Perhaps it was to box them in, he needed a much bigger box though.!!

I'd love to hear Rick take on 'Mystery Girl', or 'City Out Of Control' might fit JC to a tee. I don't think material would be an issue.

It was a term describing that era on the old Offical message board. As well as Twods board and website setup around 2005.

Ah ok, I'd known the term from the 70's,I wasn't aware (or forgot) it gained momentum on the old message board..!!
