Here's something I'd never thought I'd see happening.... JEFF LYNNE'S ELO TO PLAY WEMBLEY STADIUM! SATURDAY JUNE 24TH 2017 Following a phenomenal sold-out UK arena tour (including four O2 Arenas) that ended in Birmingham on Friday night and a crowd thrilling performance in the prestigious ‘Legends' slot at Glastonbury yesterday, Jeff Lynne’s ELO will be headlining Wembley Stadium on 24th June 2017. Tickets are on-sale from 9am this Friday 1st July priced at £110 / £85 / £55 / £35 (subject to per-ticket charge plus order processing fee) and are available from www.livenation.co.ukMore popular than ever, Jeff Lynne’s ELO continue to go from strength to strength with not only his latest platinum album, ‘Alone In The Universe’ a runaway success both commercially and critically, (with all the singles taken from it featuring on the Radio 2 A List) but also this past week has seen the one millionth sale of ‘All Over The World - The Very Best Of Electric Light Orchestra’. www.jefflynneselo.com

I appreciate it is popular on here also.

paradiseflatsI went along to see them at the O2 in April and it was one of the best gigs this year so far. And no way was it bland. The music was much rockier than the singles give you to believe. And we all left on a high. I remembered all the songs from when they were released but I hadn't expected to have such a good night out. So I'm not surprised by this at all.

Great tunes, no fillers, no bullshit between songs. A real down to earth bloke.

Great tunes, no fillers, no bullshit between songs. A real down to earth bloke. He seems a nice bloke but one with zero charisma. As for the music, sounds like bland, lift music to me. On Glastonbury they all seemed to be the same bland tempo. Not great at all. However each to their own.

I like Jeff Lynne and his music, having been once though in the 80s I don't particularly want to sit through an entire set again. PARTICULARLY NOT AT WEMBLEY! I cherry picked my favourite bits off the iPlayer last night.

An excellent performance. Top man that Jeff is. He also likes Quo! Thought ZZ Top and Muse also nailed it.
