Well that was fantastic! Great gig but getting out a nightmare. On the tube now about to leave Stratford. Been walking for an hour. I think Axl did well. Angus was epic as usual and all the band sounded great but I would have liked the rhythm guitar a bit higher in the mix, but it may have been just where I was? Really tempted to get tickets for Manchester. I don't want my son's to miss out on this. Colin, get a ticket again for Manchester. Really.. it was worth it for the extra songs not usuaĺly played. I loved hearing If you want blood again! I went last night and enjoyed it more than any gig by ACDC I had ever been to. Great to hear loads of old stuff that Brian just can't sing. I thought Axl was very good. I also thought Angus was on top form. It seems a life time ago that I saw Guns cover Whole lotta Rosie. I was pleased they dumped most of the recent sub par stuff. Riff raff was top draw. Last year I said never again. After this... Maybe. On a different note I found the tube pretty quick and well organised. Much better than getting out of Wembley. Yes, the tube was fine, it was getting there that was the problem. Seeing the scale of the whole thing, I couldn't help wondering what might have been for Quo if they had persevered in the States, kept the original lineup and stuck to what they do best. I reckon Angus earnt as much from that one show as Francis earns in a whole tour.

Well I thought Axl did well... no spoilt brat behaviour and they were on stage bang on time. I'm glad I went and really enjoyed the gig, as did my son. Having said that, it was the first time I had seen them so had nothing to compare to. Agree about the time it took to get out and back to the tube. It obviously wasn't sold out so imagine how much worse it could have been. Viv, I looked out for you in your AC/DC T-shirt but couldn't see you. You didn't change your mind and wear a black bikini top did you? No I wouldn't frighten everyone with that, it's bad enough for them to see an old lady rockin out!

Don't you mean "frighten everyone with them"?... I was referring to the young lady who saw herself on the big screens and whipped her bikini top off to everyone's delight!

It was an amazing show, thought Axl did brilliantly.
Can't believe I got to hear Riff Raff, fucking epic!

Back from the gig,as I thought Axl is not the right man to be singing with the band,ok on Bon stuff awful on Brian stuff.Wouldnt pay to see that again though Cheers interesting view, Mark... I've seen them in Vienna 3 weeks ago, and even before I've see the pro-shot excerpt of Shoot to Thrill from the tour start in Lisbon, and I thought Axl is closest to the Brian Johnson of the Back in Black era...! not so much on the recent tracks, of course, where a deeper, roaring voice is what we've known or Brian lately on the RoB Album, or RnR Train...
That said, I really enjoyed it, also the old rare songs thrown in!!!
RIFF RAFF!!!
