See, this is the thing... That's not shit. It sounds good and is tighter than my wallet in the month of January... However, it's so devoid of soul, feel and swing it's ridiculous. It just sounds very systematic. Its empty and hollow. I'm obviously comparing this performance to Status Quo Bang on. It's too polished. There's no rawness. Because there's no raw edge it's a faux power. Just loud. They say you can't polish a turd. Well maybe not, but by over-polishing the classic hits those tracks they covet so much have become the proverbial turds.

Wow...if I was there, of course I would love it. I've never seen any version of Quo live, so it would be a thrill. Having said that...the video is sad. Rossi's voice is shot and he doesn't even try to hit the high notes. The whole thing just sounds hollow. Workmanlike. Even pedantic.
I was very sad to hear Quo was retiring, until seeing this. I realize it's time for this version to go away. If Rossi had any brain cells left, it would be time to reunite the real Quo, but I can't imagine that ever happening.

Well, there are enough of us who are disappointed in these retirement days and the way they are going out with a whimper, seemingly minus the FF.
I hope you keep posting though. Your views are always interesting to read because you come at Quo from a quite different angle to most on here, having discovered them late on also in a quite different way
