Just had a look and that's the Euro price (E68.50). That's currently about £54 Sterling, which is about what we are paying for them here.

Now, if they show up with a brand new show, with a new stage production, new setlist, new light show and a decent encore, I'll understand the higher price.... If it's the same old story then, it's rip off

The additions to the bill, as far as I am concerned, are still not sufficient to compensate for that. If I had ever wanted to see REO Seedwagon et al, I would have paid money to have seen them already, or would have them on a future 'must see' list.
The 'loyalty factor' is not a pull either. I wouldn't keep going to the same takeaway I had been going to for years if the food or service that I had enjoyed so much deteriorated and the management took no notice at all of the complaint to put things right.

So have a lot of other things :-(

70 quid for a standing ticket to see CQ in Dublin. It was 50 for the FF Why is it 70 quid?! because there were no Lounge Kittens?

70 quid for a standing ticket to see CQ in Dublin. It was 50 for the FF Why is it 70 quid?! because there were no Lounge Kittens? I shall put it to you this way, my friend I bought two tickets, for me and my Dad, literally just to complete the circle.....He brought me to a few Quo gigs when I was young.....First one I remember is Dublin 1996, although I have a pic of me in the National stadium with the stage behind me from 1992 When money was good in Ireland, we followed them all over England, during every UK tour.....We'd go to United matches, home or away, and then go to a Quo gig.... We'd follow our beloved United, based on Quo's Winter dates. Handed him a ticket this morning, for this years gig.....He never saw the FF in their prime. He was afraid he'd stick out among the younger denim clad fans........He went to every gig from 86 on, in Ireland.....He dragged me up with them He saw the Dublin gig in 2014 and was blown away.....He still feels cheated over the lack of reunion tours ...And we are talking bout a guy who has followed them since POMM. When I handed him his tickets this morning, he was delighted to have something to look forward to....I felt great being able to give back.... Then, he uttered the immortal words..."It won't be the same though. Nothing can replicate 2014" And he's right...And if U2 weren't still on the go, I'd have packed it in after that night in 2014.....The FF are just incredible. CQ, being as it is their last tour, need to cop on and try match it....Otherwise, they are cheating the fans who made them

That's a nice post, FW. I hope you and your dad will enjoy the show.
My dad took my brother and me to England in 1984 for the Quo. While we were having a wonderful, mind-blowing day he spent the day in London, saw the sights and came back to collect us after the gig. Afterwards he said he didn't really like the music which was coming from the festival grounds, but he could understand the appeal for us. We were convinced we would never see SQ again. Young and naïve, I guess?

It's a package tour this time - you get another big band (REO Speedwagon) plus another support act for the price. Since we've been having them prices here have gone up as well. I ain't complaining though - it's still reasonable and I'm looking forward to seeing Heep again. Talk about trying make it sound better than it is. Package tour ? Is it not just a washed up support band? When end they had in the best good supports, which they didn't call a package they didn't put prices up drastically. Even when they did the Christmas dates they didn't. In fact last year they had a band who are far bigger in the UK than REO Speedwagon and they didn't hike the prices.

This is a CQ tour with a support band, though Reo are not on the Dublin bill, which is just as well as tickets would have been 100euro as opposed to 70.!!

70 quid for a standing ticket to see CQ in Dublin. It was 50 for the FF Why is it 70 quid?! 50 euro was great value for the reunion gig in Dublin, £50. for Hammy which was still great value and last summer I paid 50euro on the gate at Cork an hour before the gig. Ok it's early day's but there's no rush whatsoever for Dublin tickets so far, and the casual fan which Dublin depends on, a couple might spend 100euro to see CQ. 140euro they might think about it a bit more! Have a ticket for Quo in Galway 82 on the wall of my bedroom in my parents house, £10/Irish punts, 2hr gig though!!!

Anyone who thinks The Lounge Kittens should be factored into the price needs locked up.
