Status Quo/CQ are now a six string double act..
Here's a summary of the interview;
Rossi; The FF were overrated in the 70's and the audience smoked dope, that's why they liked solo's, nowadays they drink tea and enjoy nice little tunes, I need more money, money, money,
Rick; I loved recording Forty Five Hundred Times ........and everything else was fantastic,,,,,,,,, very hard to play acoustic though!!

Well to be fair, he's not wrong....Who the fuck wants to listen to 45 minute guitar solos? Those fretboard wanks Angus Young does live, at the end of Let There Be Rock, are fucking tedious. Apart from the first and last question, he really does come across as a tit... Yes Francis, the band who made you famous, wrote the songs that made you famous and loved all around the world, one of the best live bands ever, the band that whose reputation you still live off today and that you still earn your millions from, is overblown You have to laugh at the guy at times......Well, it's the FF, John Fogerty and the Bolland Brothers that actually make you your millions. Not CQ though

Rick did say he loved Hammy though.... Rossi loved Hammy, he was in his element. and he came as close to admitting it as he ever will on the 2nd night in 2013!

I liked the interview, would like to comment on two quotes:
1. Francis: "People kept coming to us and saying, 'Oh, I didn't know you wrote such nice songs!' And I'm thinking, 'Well, what the fuck were you listening to?' 2. Rick: 'I never read any of the write-ups about the albums. I'm just not interested. I get the feedback from the fans when we play live - that's all I need.'
To 1. Why didn't you mix up the set in all those years? Feck the 'flow' and people ( not fans) would have known you write such nice songs.
To 2. What feedback do you mean as you never play any new stuff?
Static Quo: the one factor that prevented them from becoming truly great.

How f**king gullible can one man be? It was down to the promotion that the album sold well!
He's so frustrated that the FF got lauded whereas the namby-pamby Bula Quo sank without trace.

Does anyone else see the "Quo Chocolate Bar", coming on? Yes, it'll be a twin bar pack like a twix but full of wafer with a thin layer of nut paste between the wafers and a very cheap "chocolate flavour" coating. Very dry, tasteless and hard to swallow.

Reading the sleeve notes of the rockin remix album, you'd swear Rossi was surprised JC plays drums.
"John actually plays great on Baby Boy"
Very hard man to read
