I've been to Southend and some of the pubs are quite big though. I suppose they could curtain-off any unsold areas. Havent thay done that before ? In pubs? Wouldn't be surprised

I've just popped over to Quo's home page, and predictably nobody has been arsed to change the announcement that tickets will be going on sale in February.

Well technically, tickets have started to be on sale in Feb.... When the Llanelli gig was announced, it was advertised as part of the last electric tour. At that time it wasn't on the Quo gig page but was the day after the last of the summer gigs. I just assumed that it might be the start of the 'Last Electric Tour' but now the Blackpool gig has the same advertising, maybe the whole year is to be classed as that?

Assuming Quo Play Manchester These Are The Dates At The Apollo & Palace Theatre That Are Still Available
Manchester Apollo 01.12.16 03.12.16 04.12.16 05.12.16 07.12.16 09.12.16 10.12.16 12.12.16 13.12.16 14.12.16 15.12.16 17.12.16 – 23.12.16
Palace Theatre, Manchester 04.12.15 11.12.16 18.12.16
My Guess Is The Apollo As All The Palace Theatre Shows Are On A Sunday And Billy Elliot The Musical Is On There From November Until January Apart Frm Those Three Sundays

More sad this is my last time going to the Apollo in Manchester or my last chance to actually go to Hammersmith
If they actually play those venues. In that sense, it's heartbreaking but, in terms of CQ, it's not. Like Neil has pointed out, there is far more to this and the identical statements between this press release and the EOTR are ridiculous

It will be in arenas won't it?
They don't like the crappy facilities backstage in the theatres.
They'll be expecting to sell more tickets (given the right promotion) and will want to do as little travelling as possible.
That's my guess.

I remember the '1982' tour and the sticker that was given to you when you bought your tickets. My sticker went on the head board of my bed as it wouldn't stay stuck properly on my college bag Things aint what they used to be I never got one of those.I got wet feet and freezing cold as the queue went all the way down Queen Caroline St. So did I. And I never got the sticker. Was that the time the kitchen staff from a nursing home came out with pots of tea to warm us up?

No surprise that they're going to "re-announce" the tour. Nobody is bothered.
I think they were expecting a great outpour of grief, but after a dull acoustic album and one of the worst films ever made, people are glad that they are quitting.

The saddest thing of all is the lack of anticipation..cast your mind back to the FF announcement..I remember all kinds of emotions as tried to get tickets first thing in the morning of release and the relief when I finally got the tickets..how many will be very nervous about getting tickets for this " Last The Of The Electrics ".. yes there will be a few anxious to grab tickets but not to the same level..not a dig at Current Quo but it says it all really.
