I have been twice and had a great time. I wish now that I had bought a ticket when they first went on sale but at the time didn't know if I would be able to manage a bus and two trains again to get there. I stayed in the same hotel near the theatre both years and was made very welcome. You could have fed a family for a week on the breakfast I was served, quality as well as quantity, and all for £28 en suite for B&B. The other guests were Quo fans too.

Issac Loved CQ did Issac, bloody loved them. In fairness to the guy, he's not a bad lad at all. He was just someone desperate to think everything CQ done was the best ever. Like a teenager who thinks every gig he goes to is the "best ever" I was the same. I used to even back him up on the original board on the official website. Until March 2013. Eyes have been well, truly and firmly opened since then

Which hotel was that granny, can you remember ? I'm in Scarborough all week for the cricket, but I'm not going to the gig. Don't like the venue or outside gigs. But i know quite a few who have been to the last 2 or 3 and they all enjoyed it. .

[/ quote] I know it Anne. We used to stop in one on North marine drive, next door to the newsagents, just down the road from the cricket ground. It's closed now, so for the last 4/5 years we've been in the North Riding brew pub. Love it there !
