Ok, so it's 38 minutes of listening to talk or listening to some music I'll enjoy... it's going to be the latter so... Can someone synopsise [?] what AL says? Is he saying there are/were 4 PLC tracks done but waiting for FR to do something with? [If so, then surely someone else could 'do' his part(s)?] Which seems to be at odds with what our Luke says ['fraid I believe Luke!] 👍

According to Alan, he, Rick and John had all finished their parts, and all they needed was Francis to do his to have 4 new Quo tracks. |

According to Alan, he, Rick and John had all finished their parts, and all they needed was Francis to do his to have 4 new Quo tracks. Hmm, think we’ve heard that before. Wonder what Quoincidence thinks? Luke, you out there?? |

Luke, you out there?? being in the position i am in, i know all too well that ex-members of the Quo camp like to make out that something exists when, if anything, it's pure hyperbole. I think this is why they started with the whole excuse of not releasing them as they wanted Rossi to play on them so that they were the last ever Frantic Four studio recordings. If they truly believed in these songs, and that Rick, Alan, and John had all done their parts, then why not just get someone else to do lead after it was very clear that Rossi wasn't going to budge / bother. |

My point exactly - there must be someone/anyone who could do justice to these alleged tracks in a ‘classic-era Rossi’ vein?
That it’s never happened, to me, indicates they probably don’t exist in anything like a meaningful state.

Isn’t all this ‘exists - doesn’t exist’ stuff SO typical of Quo?
I don’t know (and in truth, I’m not that interested) but their management seems to be consistently rubbish through all the years.
So many missed opportunities (demos and rare stuff, concert videos, fixing personnel issues etcetc - a joke gone off the rails (to mix a metaphor!)

In addition to this interview, there are interviews with both Rick and Francis which describe hearing two new songs by Alan. Both describe them as "1974", which wasn't a complement
So at very least I'm sure Alan must have had two demos
