Doesn't mention on the Australian gig list that Bob Young guested at some gigs as well - I saw him in Newcastle.

I notice on the gigography that there are soundboard recordings of 30/08/87 The Tivoli and 20/05/89 The Crows Nest. Does anyone have copies of those? I love the Bombers and would love a copy. Thanks I may be wrong but I think it was this 1989 gig that was released as a vinyl album some years ago? I've just checked my CD copy of that live album (brilliant!) and you're absolutely right, Per - good shout, mate. However, that album only has Bomber songs on it - the soundboard recording would have more songs, I would assume. So I'd still love to find a copy.

Fancy being billed as "Ex Quo drummer" and "Ex Quo bassist/vocalist". They should have been billed as Quo's legendary founder members.

That's correct, the live album released by Barrel & Squidger was recorded at the Crows Nest gig on 20th May 1989. Most version of that album are sold out but I note that the picture disc vinyl album is still available: www.musicglue.com/squidger/products/alan-lancasters-bombers-with-john-coghlan-live-picture-disc-lp( jason is the guy for all the info on this)

She's a Mystery - an Alan song recorded live with the Bombers with this version only released in 2019. Features JC on drums - supposedly. Certainly sounds like him.

Shame it never happened in Britain, I would have certainly gone to a Bombers Gig at the time if it had, Quo that year released the generally poor 'Thirsty Work' album (the Tour was good though) could you imagine the Rock Press headline 'Rossi and Parfitt v Lancaster and Coghlan' could have been an interesting one (if Spud had stayed in the Bombers line up that is)
