Xland thx mate for your perfect answer, that was exactly all the things that I wanted to know
I said goodbye to Quo live at Download 2014. I can't believe that's nearly 10 years ago. I do love backbone. Going to see this line up is now something that's under consideration. Never say never
Yes I can't believe where the time goes, just seems to go quicker & quicker, as Rossi says, "why does living go so fast?". I went to Wembley last year, first time seeing Richie with the band & first time live since 2014 for me too. I decided to go after the whole Backbone release & watching their Radio 2 Hyde Park performance in 2019, via the red button on BBC I think it was, then the Backbone tour obviously got cancelled. I understand why some will probably never go again, but it's still that live experience, I love live events, whether that's sport, music or something else. Records & memories are great, but live is live & Rossi is still there & with the right set it's still a great gig to me. With time also, I think you just get used to the likes of Richie & Leon being in the band too. I think I'm just kind of clinging on as long as I can, once Rossi's gone or quits, it really is gone forever, live-wise. I'll probably end up going to see them as long as Rossi is still touring, either as Quo or in one of his solo forms.

Rossi killed the Frantic Four and Status Quo the Rockband and I will never forgive him. He could play in my hometown on the market square for free and I would stay at home doing the laundry.

That's fair enough & I'm sure there are many who feel the same, some do express that view on here often & I have had my frustrations with some of the things Francis has said & done over the years too. Just remember to shut your windows, separate your whites & I'm sure you'll be fine!

And also they are going to play in Mérida www.eventsentradas.com/eventos/stone-and-music-merida-2024/ciclo/148-status-quo/327-entradas-status-quo-stone-and-musicI heard that the teatre is beautiful and the acoustics are really good, but the cheapest tickets are 35€ + expenses and including the trip from Madrid to Mérida...Sounds like a no for me (knowing that the next day they are in Madrid). Even there's a rumour that they are going to play in Benidorm on the 16th. No one in the spanish fan club knew that (well, we didn't know they are going to play in Madrid either until the day they confirmed it), someone from Facebook mentioned it and the official account of Quo said they are waiting the confirmation of the promotor, so they can be 3 shows in Spain next year. S**t, I'm excited. Maybe in Mérida they are going to receive a star in the "rock 'n' roll hall of fame" from there. Don't know if it was this year or the last year, but Deep Purple and Europe received one when they were in town, so it sounds like it.

Do it, while you still can. It's a great gig still.

I’ll be going to Scarborough open air, my 1st Quo gig since Ricks passing. (145th in total) Had the tickets bought as a Christmas present. It will be quite an emotional experience without Rick I’m sure.

Does anyone happen to have good spare tickets (first few rows only) for the Swansea (June 4th) and Wolverhampton (June 5th) gigs?

If you hate everything after the 70's, why do you continue to come on this messageboard? All I ever do is see you post negative stuff, if that's your only purpose in life then you really seem like a strange person.

Some do it more often than others but it is what it is. The trouble can be if the personal stuff starts to creep in, it seriously fcuks the board up. It's only Rock 'n' Roll

I'm guessing that, based on those definitions, you've seen Quo Mk 4,5,6,2,7,8 ??

For me it's as follows (Just the way I've always seen it and seen them 'Live') In order that I've seen it Quo Mk1 Rossi/Lancaster/Parfitt/Coghlan (with Bown from '73 contributing and full time from '76) No disrespect to Roy/Jess as previous members of course Quo Mk2 Rossi/Lancaster/Parfitt/Bown/Kircher Quo Mk3 Rossi/Parfitt/Bown/Edwards/Rich Quo Mk4 Rossi/Parfitt/Bown/Edwards/Letley Quo Mk5 Rossi/Parfitt/Bown/Edwards/Cave Quo Mk6 Rossi/Bown/Edwards/Cave/Malone
Each to their own of course, this has been debated for (Quo) eternity, but I've always seen the 'Frantic Four' as Mk1, and the rest falls into place (The 'Back to SQ1' campaign for the Second Reunion Tour badge/campaign confirmed this, for me anyway) Cheers
