Book Arrived Yesterday, But Why So Many Blank Pages.....? I was about to order it until I saw this. Are there a lot of empty pages/spaces used as filler? I know 30 quid isn't much in the grand scheme of things but I do resent a rip-off... any comments much appreciated!

Books are sewn in sections of 8, 16 or 32 pages. So most books you own will have a number of pages divisible by 32, 16, 8.
This looks to be a self published thing. I would guess gillie or whoever didn’t realise this and so they have only used a few pages of the last 32 page section.

Anyone received a copy? Good to get some thoughts on it for anyone thinking about buying.

Has anyone read it?
Does it give anything interesting about why he left ?
And any glaring inaccuracies?
The last one was disappointing on all these fronts

Got a signed copy by JC via Gillie Coghlan, and finished reading it today, for the price it's good, but there are some basic errors printed, with all due respect to Steven Myatt (the Biographer) perhaps more proof reading was needed on reflection? (By a diehard Quo Fan probably who 'knows all?) The thing to remember it's a Biography not an Autobiography of course, and occasionally the Author does seem to go off topic with sections on other similar era Acts/happenings of the Times, he does give a fair balanced account of the Individual Frantic Four members, positive and negative points for all, and there's obviously quotes used from previous publications and these are reproduced faithfully. The quality of pictures does differ from excellent to patchy but obviously technology wasn't the best when shots/posters etc were taken I suppose. Overall I'd give it 7.5 out of 10 as a Quo related publication

You’d have thought they would have wanted to avoid this happening again. Like you say a Quo die hard would have been all over the situation. Plus it would have been a labour of love

Ive just finished it & tbh it was a struggle, its got a lot of basic errors as mentioned by Triggsy, its basically a potted story of Quo which lets be honest most of us know. I found it disappointing tbh & certainly not worth £30. Ive been to see Francis show tonight & bought his `Songbook - Stories Behind The Hits` book, it was also £30 - its in a hard box, signed with a 4 track cd & actually looks like a really nice piece of kit obviously ive not read it yet but first impression is i know which one was the better value. Thats just my opinion.

This is so fcking annoying. Surely its not rocket science to put together a book about one member of Quo. The other book was almost unreadable due to its inacuracies, it seems this book mirrors that.It would have made sense to ask a couple of proper Quo fans from this board (which there are many) to proof read it before publication. An opportunity missed.......again!
