Must have been amazing to hear Burning Bridges get a rare outing.

I was there in 2000. It was a real shame that hey mimed the album but the short live set after was absolutely brilliant! It's almost like they were embarrassed by the miming and really went for it in the live set. And yes, we got afree t-shirt.

I have seen numerous bands at Shepherd's Bush over the years but didn't get to Quo's gig there in 2000. Jeff Rich's last gig?
Seeing this thread has jogged my memory though about seeing the TV programme 'Blood On The Carpet'. All about Trevor Dann's and Matthew Bannister's culling of the older Radio One DJs and Quo gets featured a fair bit. Trevor Dann talking about them and then there is footage of him trotting along to see the gig at Shepherd's Bush.
Quite interesting watching the TV programme again all these years later after it had been aired. Some of you may spot your former selves in the footage?! Skip to about 17:20 if you just want to see the gig footage and then Trevor Dann talking about Quo. I am not sure if this footage is the complete programme or if split into a series.

I've been there a few times through the ages. (There is a rumour that my grandad used to keep a late night haberdashers shop in the area somewhere, but that was before my time.) But I wasn't at this one, no idea why, unless it was a draw. Which single is that 45k on the back of? I have a feeling I haven't heard that one.
The main thing about the Empire is, if you take one step in the wrong direction you get run over by a bus. And I see it's now an O2. Everywhere in London seems to be an O2.

Thanks I enjoyed watching that! Not quite sure if it was supposed to be a comedy or serious, with it’s Downton Abbey soundtrack (and narrator) and mockumentary style, interesting watch though! 🙂

Viv, I'm fairly sure it was a serious documentary. Of its time as they say! I hear you though as the dramatic narrator and the filming techniques could be seen as mockumentary but pretty sure that wasn't the intention.
