Count each composition once. Otherwise we’ll end up with 50 versions of caroline That's what I did, and that's what this article now reflects too: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_recorded_by_Status_QuoBut as I said, I left off some tracks like the ones from Recorded Delivery as well as songs that were only demoed (Shifting Sand, Another Game in Town, Rearrange, Blondes Don't Lie, Let's Start Again) and didn't get a proper recording by the band. Oddly enough, I ended up counting 420 from that list too despite it including "A Planet Called Monday" and "God Save the Queen", which I hadn't even thought of...

Another proposal to whittle it down: How about those songs only that did not use this guy's secret recipe ... Or if we just discounted anything with variations of this chord here, would that clear the field a little? Just sayin' ...

Here's the list as a Word document - download expires in 7 days:
It's everything that's been officially released under the Quo name, also including Spectres/Traffic Jam era's.
I've been compiling this for years, so should be up-to-date/complete.
Yeah, some might want to debate whether some inclusions are really Quo, but it's everything with the Quo name to it, not including the stuff that was on the recent Back To Back deluxe edition (Rossi/Frost etc.)
Every version of every song! Single edits, the lot.
And i always note the source of the best (or what i consider best with regards the remasters) version. Some might want to disagree.
With regards the live medleys, there are different versions of essentially the same medley, and i've split these up too - took ages!
Probably a few other disclaimers i can't think of right now.

Next attempt... 417. I'm classing "Come Rock With Me" and "Rockin' On" as one song, btw.
"Reprises" include re-recordings and are subtracted from the "album tracks" column. "Extra tracks" are added.
The "Thirsty Work" era was apparently their most productive, at least as far as officially released songs go!

Impressive! I guess the disclaimer is that remixes aren't included? That would cover both the four remixes from the "Benzin im Blut" soundtrack as well as the various versions of "Jump That Rock" with Scooter. I also don't see the collab with Stephan Remmler, which I cunningly ignored when compiling ideas for the Ain't Complaining deluxe edition

This really is an anthropological study beyond compare. Quo fans - I mean the real thing in all its denim glory! - actually differentiating between songs. Yes, who'd have thought, how have I erred! I have to roll over, lay down my preconceptions and let empirical research in. The mind, it doth boogie boggle. You guys are just great!

But something like the instrumental version of "Come On You Reds" i do, as it's likely all Quo members doing the instrumentation. The main version however, i don't include with the football squad on vocals.

Oh! I completely forgot that one, despite it being included in first drafts of the Thirsty Work deluxe edition.

This is my list, from my script scrapping my main Quo folder: pastebin.com/j3SrSmNu449 songs, not counting with the ones I marked with asterisk. And I think I'm missing a couple pre-The Status Quo tracks.

GoGoGo and Go Go Go Did they ever settle on a definitive spelling? Yeah, it seems I have different versions of the same track written in different ways, unintentionally. With this list I found several cases. I trimmed most of them, but that one slipped away. It's possible there are more cases still
