I don't think I've played this since 1983, so I gave it a spin the other night. It's not quite as bad as I remembered, and it does sound like an album as opposed to a collection of songs if that makes sense, but it's still painful. I'm now trying to muster up the courage to listen to Army and Ain't Complaining. It may take some time. Some people are into cutting themselves. Seek help.

When Quo did step sideways with their own tracks of the ilk of Too Close to The Ground, Living on an Island, and Rock N Roll, they hit the spot for me. Well-crafted songs. The latter two made some impression in the charts. The gunshot sounds (drum gated reverb) on Back to Back are very 80s of course but a tad irritating. Especially in the lead solo in Too Close to the Ground. Ol' Rag Blues being another casualty.
