Well, I quite enjoyed the gig last night in Leeds. Not a patch on the glory days but still a solid performance and a decent set list. Had to endure about 20 mins of Shakey, but apart from that we had a pretty good night.

No I get that. I think frames coke addiction played a major part in the bands downfall, but the only person who never bad mouths anyone is John Rick put Alan down before the reunions in various interviews. And spud. Alan made a real point of constantly berating Francis. I can understand why, but it still happened Like you say none of them are angels. I disagree with your point about John - he often bad mouthed Francis, especially after Rick died. Even at the convention he made an oblique reference to Francis when he asked how was everyone, all right? He then said oh dear, I sound like someone else - (this was not said in a good way).

And the reason JC said what he did? Because Rossi was very disparaging in his comments about Alan and JC after the reunion tours so he was just sticking up for himself. The attitude of Rossi was pretty disgusting, yet he can still do no wrong in a lot of people’s eyes . Cheers

As good as to be expected tbh and I really like what they’re doing with the breakdown in down down What was the turnout like? Looked decent on this video

Wembley and Munich for me ( Glasgow was great
I’d recommend anyone still undecided to take the plunge and go along as it’s a good set representing all eras ( except the 60s)

All I know is that you said John never bad mouths anyone, and I've heard him do so quite often, so you are wrong. None of us knows what went on behind closed doors for any of the band. Whatever is said about things that have occurred in the past, they will be from that person's perspective. It will never be a dispassionate, factual account. You and I could experience the same incident, and have entirely different perspectives and interpretations of it. That is just how people are made. I'm not defending Rossi, I don't know the man, but there are two sides to every story, and accepting one side as truth whilst dismissing the other as false is just wrong.

Looked decent on this video I can't speak for Leeds, but Glasgow was sold out. I think the sales of tickets for this tour have been quite high. The long intro to Down Down is interesting. I like it and I'd like it to be adapted into a full blown track like Backbone. Although they never did with that long intro to Big Fat Mama back in the day. It did remind me strongly of Rockin' On in places but I can live with that

I’d love to have an album or even just an ep these days with them jamming and songs constructed like this. Just instrumental breaks and extended bits and pieces

Bournemouth last night was absolutely brilliant, if I wasn't busy I'd go to Wembley on saturday. Really fun show, band in great spirits and there were some personal highlights in the setlist for me.
