Anyone, who want's to watch paint dry. I fking hat concept albums, Paint Dry were great before the recording of Back to Front in the tropical paradise Frinton-on-Sea. The friction between Adam Winchester and Flancis Rusty finally came to the fore, poor old Dick Parfaitt was left high and dry...bit like the paint.

Due to set off for Llandudno in about an hour. Making a weekend of it. Or rather, we're not The weather up here is positively biblical with amber flood warnings on all day and all night. Plod say not to travel and all trains are cancelled north of Preston. Well, everyone knows there's nothing north of Preston anyway And the trains to the airport are also off, which is where we were picking up the car rental. We'll try again tomorrow. Tall order with only one driver, going down on the Sunday and back on the Monday but I'll make it up to her He and Hilly had better be good!

Alas, the weather won. Still catastrophic on Sunday morning with the amber warnings which were supposed to be gone by 3am still in place. Leathering it down. Hasn't stopped for 48 hours. A long, wet Sunday it is then

What a pity mortified. By accounts I've read it was really good and the venue itself, the Motorsport Lounge, has received praise. It's like a kick in the teeth when you look forward to a gig and then at the last minute you can't go.

My daughter surprised me with tickets for the Poynton gig (where my daughter lives). He played this little town a few years back, but a different venue. Larger crowd (about 120) and a better venue. (he referred to the previous venue as something like Phoenix Nights). Varied set list including (not the correct order I am sure and some tracks missing). Can't Count Me Out Bellavista Man Two Way Traffic My Name Is Stan Busy Doing Nothing Hard Drinking Woman Famous My Side of the Road Primrose Money Mony / Jungle Love One Note Blues Bad News Cougar Never Too Old (To Rock'n'Roll) Jam Side Down Old Time Rock and Roll Paper Plane
IMO Rhino is a good front man, good humour and actually not a bad singer. I think he simply tries too hard at a Quo gig. They had a ‘guest’ harmonica player, some local guy called Clive, who was excellent. It was an odd gig, 99% of the audience stayed sat down, just myself and daughter standing.

It was a great gig full of fantastic songs. I love the more uptempo Belavista Man
