There's been some activity on Facebook, either on Francis' page or Quo's official page, can't remember which, relating to Francis, Rhino, and Richie recording "TV tracks". No light shed on the details, so who knows. But somebody over on Instagram seems to know something about a related topic (social media good for something!). He says, over a few replies to a post about this very topic: "I know FR, RP, AB and JRE have all composed library music tracks for TV and film sync. Could be that maybe?" "Most of these tracks are held by the libraries themselves and bear little to no resemblance to the Quo ‘sound’. I’ve heard some of RP’s - quite early 2000s sounding rock/pop!" "One was called ‘Gasoline’ and one was called ‘Building it Back Up Again’. Try the Chappell Recorded Music Library!" Anyone aware of this/these? I can't answer this specific question but I have used 'library music' for dramas I produced in the 1990/2000s. So it makes sense to me that they might be doing this too.
