His drumming in this new track is amazing, he just gets better and better. Love to see it.

Still not clear why he left..? Someone close to the band told me with some confidence, but it's quite gossipy so I don't want to post it. I also heard that Matt has relocated to Australia - does anyone know if this is true?

PS I also thought he was a great drummer and perfect for Quo. One small gripe is that there was no power in his opening beats of Caroline, but I always assumed this was down to the sound guy until Leon came in and brought them back. Apart from that, I thought Matt was great and I was sad to see him go.
In fact, I especially went to the O2 to what the band had billed to be his final ever gig just to see his last show...and then they announced he was going to stay with them for the Australian tour...

Matt Letley then? For me, the Man who turned Quo's fortunes around, pure and simple, the 'Live' sound was slowed right back down, it had got progressively quicker towards the latter part of the Jeff Rich era (not saying it was solely down to Jeff's drumming btw) but once Matt took over the 'sticks' Quo changed for the better, sound wise, met him backstage with Quo at Plymouth in 2002, seemed, with all due respect, grateful to be there, but was certainly a great addition to the band in his era, was sad when he left in 2013
