On a serious note, there will be a huge pent up demand for gigs and Quo's place would be to milk the nostalgia/classic rock circuit for as long as Frame remains fit and healthy. Andy is no spring chicken but could be replaced by a session guy if he was to retire.
As for new music, well, Backbone was fine, if not very exciting, but any new stuff needs less woooo woooo woooo's and more of a gritty old bluesmen feel.

I agree they will be silly too miss out the demand for gigs later this year and next year if it does turn out to be a final tour. They are going too need some time to rehearse as they are all going too be very rusty.

60th anniversary tour for next year featuring as many ex members as possible then retire . Cheers Love the idea of the tour with ex members but this and any plans of retirement would be up to Francis, not management!

Cheers Love the idea of the tour with ex members but this and any plans of retirement would be up to Francis, not management! I think the only ex member fans really want back out on the road is John, Alan is not well enough even if he and Francis by some miracle patched things up again, Pete isn't interested and Jeff and Matt don't have any pull for the old hard-core. As for Andy retiring, he's in better shape than Francis healthwise.

Even if Alan came out and sung a couple of things, with JC behind the kit for those ones. Can’t see it happening though we’ve had our reunion of proper Quo (twice),so I won’t get too hopeful . Cheers

Do we count Paul Hirsch, Freddy Edwards as Ex Members of Quo....? How would you feel if a Hologram of Rick was used

How would you feel if a Hologram of Rick was used Definitely not, they were merely hired to cover an emergency absence, there was never a thought of permanent membership. The hologram idea is terrible, it was beyond terrible with Ronnie. They look fake and the band would have to play over a backing track of Rick at some past gig or have the hologram and Richie playing live somewhere. If, and it's a huge if with Francis, there is ever a coming together of past and present to celebrate 60 years just get John who is universally loved and respected by fans and leave it at that. Having him on stage with Leon would still be great.

The hologram shows with Dio looked awful I didn't get why that thing ever existed. The hologram only "sang" like 2-3 songs, the rest of it, it was a tribute band playing. I assume if the Quo do an hologram show with Rick, he can play and sing the whole show...Anyway they didn't going to change the setlist with humans
